Swollen hand while pregnant- has this happened to you? - index of pregnant

I), almost 35 weeks pregnant and with a section of a swollen hand (between thumb and forefinger. It hurts when I touch them, but none of my hands are swollen to block. I'll make my next appointment on Thursday, so I thought I would just wait until that date. However, it seems a little strange not blown up in place if it is associated with pregnancy. Other pregnant women have experienced similar problems swelling?

All pregnancies are different, but also had swelling, just on my hands, nowhere else. At first I thought it was a sign that something really bad, but the doctor told me it was okay. The next time she became pregnant, did the same thing with my third and fourth child, and has diminished somewhat rare in pregnancy, are you in the end, I would not freak too. :)

Oh, I can tell you exactly what it is B / C, what happened, and it was my worst symptoms during pregnancy. There by water retention, some women develop carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy, B / C excess fluid compresses the tunnel, which is already in the area. Thus, the carpal bones in the interior of the tunnel is pressed. Mine were swollen and tingling and numbness. They said they would leave after the birth, not directly but in a few weeks. Now, after the birth has not disappeared, but was replaced by a tendon inflammation. I looked online and there is a connection between this and the pregnancy, but it seems that no one can explain why. So with my own criteria, I think my nerves have been damaged by compression constant about 5 months of pregnancy. There are some surgical treatments, like a corset, and shots of steroids, but defidently this matter to the attention of their MD. Good luck!

I know that inflammation is common during pregnancy, but I'm not hurt. It could be just a strange thing for your pregnancy. But if you ever had a lump that you did not live during the pregnancy, I would go to the doctor. Call and tell him / her and you can tell more of his fine, but only Incase. Good luck and congratulations

I also think it is water retention. This is perhaps a little uncomfortable. You can get the water in the hands (or part), or feet. It happened to me w / my feet. It was twice as big as they are in the rule and that was a little painful. Luckily it was summer, so I bought Sandals w / Velcro finger, so I can do it big enough for the feet of fat! Good luck! :)

Ok well I am a boy, if you do not really say what happened to me, (the boy who would be creepy!) But I know it can happen is normal for this, it happened 4 times my mother (my reasons are three brothers and sisters), so it is normal and nothing to fear.

Good luck with the baby!

Now in 39 weeks and my fingers do not quite blown up when it (sometimes too close for my hand like a handful of thumb) hurts, but my left hand, the other is normal, no change whatsoever. The top on my right foot is swollen, but no longer in my left foot or right so that if my swelling is rare! Today I have an appointment and I quote, but my husband told me retain water and can be anywhere on the hands and feet and normal. (It's in nutrition and) medical work, but go no doctor to talk to my midwife in yet, but assured me a bit, until my appointment:)
